The Iranian Scientific Fisheries Journal (has been published since summer 1992) is a primary publication outlet for the multidisciplinary field of aquatic sciences.
Aims
The journal seeks to:

- Promote the application of scientific findings to the sustainable management and conservation of aquatic resources.

Scope
The journal covers a wide range of topics related to the biology, ecology, management, and conservation of aquatic systems. The scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Biology and Ecology: Research on omics, cells, organisms, populations, and ecosystems.
- Fisheries Science: Including stock assessment, fishing technology, and fisheries management.
